Job Overview
The purpose of the job is to build made to order driveshafts under the direct supervision of a qualified technician.
Responsibilities
- Assembly/Balancing of drive shafts
- Machine operation, including loading and unloading of parts
- Job/Equipment set-up and changeovers
- Trouble-shooting minor equipment issues
- Utilize measurement instruments such as measuring tape, calipers and micrometers
- Report inventory/parts discrepancies
- Package drive shafts as required
- Report improper operation, faulty equipment, defective materials, unsafe and unusual conditions

- Knowledge of basic shop procedures and ability to properly use shop tools
- Ability to communicate with others
- Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English
- Ability to properly use equipment, materials, and supplies.
- Range of motion – able to bend, stoop, squat, reach and stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
