Job Description
Does a cutting-edge job designing, developing, and testing the PartQuest Explore website sound exciting? Do you want to work side-by-side (virtually speaking) with a dedicated group of creative engineers developing a cloud-based design, modeling, simulation, and analysis environment for electronic and mechatronic circuits and systems? Then join our team and help us continue to surpass customer expectations! You will be the lead developer on our Drupal-based website. Once you learn the site’s architecture in its current form, you’ll have the opportunity to reconstruct it using best practices and Siemens standards! Responsibilities: Design and implement new site features and functionality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize website and application requirements. Develop custom modules and themes to enhance website and application functionality and user experience. Optimize website performance and security. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience with web hosting platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud. Experience with Agile development. Knowledge of web design and user experience principles. Strong experience in developing and maintaining Drupal-based websites and applications. Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Familiarity with Drupal modules, hooks, and APIs. Experience with version control systems such as Git. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications: Previous EDA experience.
