Responsibilities:

• Records all of the plant outlined in the log book accurately at the specified intervals, including air conditioning system, calorifiers, hot water pumps, heating water pumps, water tanks, etc
• Records the various utility meter readings at the specified intervals and executes the daily operation and maintenance of the plant
• Takes responsibility for the distribution of work orders and ensures that the work orders forms are completed as designed
• Executes each work order skilfully and economically, and allocates work to subordinates effectively
• Maintains the stock level of spare parts and other equipment are available at all times
• Monitors the works which are carried out by outside contractors
• Provides technical support and assistance to the customers in the use of electrical and mechanical facilities for organising and commencement of functions and events in the Centre
• Starts up and shuts down ventilation and lighting, in accordance with the instruction or schedule
• Performs other tasks as assigned by the direct supervisor or above

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma or above in building services engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or other related fields
• Holder of Registered Electrical Worker Grade “A”
• Holder of Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in building services engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or other related fields
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Able to work under pressure and multi-tasking
• Shift duty and typhoon duty is required
