Mövenpick Hotel is currently recruiting for vivacious and experienced Duty Manager to join our Front Office Team.

To be considered for the position, it is essential you have New Zealand working rights, amazing customer service and communication skills. We view this as a long-term position within our group and will provide coaching and training for personal growth. The applicant must also hold a Managers Certificate.

  • Opera, Micros and ResaWeb knowledge preferred
  • Previous Duty Manager experience preferred
  • Exceptional personal presentation and a welcoming smile
  • An ability to make sound decisions and solve problem independently
  • Ability to oversee the hotel operation in the absence of the Front Office Manager
  • Full New Zealand drivers license and able to operate both automatic and manual vehicles
  • Flexibility of availability e.g. Weekends, public holidays etc
  • Ability to work a variety of hours which includes weekends across a 7 day/week roster
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task and make use of your excellent time management skills
  • Proven experience leading a team
  • Relevant Qualifications to industry
