Your challenge
As part of our journey to transform our Company into a more competitive and agile organization, one of the key initiatives in this transformation journey is the deployment of the Philips Integrated Landscape, the standard Philips Excellence Process Framework and Continuous Improvement/Lean methodologies to enable a continuous drive to become more data/ fact driven and to drive our operational excellence. The End2End Project Manager owns the initiatives driving the market transformation journey and will be overall responsible for planning, coordination and execution of all deployment activities in the Africa market, ensuring a successful localization & implementation at Market, Regional or Global level.
In this role
Your primary focus is to drive the initiatives in the market transformation journey and lead more complex sub transformation E2E projects. You own multiple market driven transformation initiatives and drive the successful, sustainable and timely deployment of global transformation initiatives to the Market Africa. The projects are enablers for the market to become more data/fact driven and have a constant drive for operational excellence in the area of process standardization, performance management and continuous improvements, with the aim to maximize value creation for all stakeholders.
You are responsible for
Formulate an E2E transformation project plan in accordance with the goals, scope and timing set by management; ensures Market technical / fiscal feasibility, specify a Business Case, the resources required (either internal or external vendors where applicable), biz. readiness, risk assessment and quality standards to be used,
Control Project Progress, drive performance & risk management and generate adequate reporting to ensure that all activities and milestones are delivered on-time, within scope and budget, and meeting required quality,
Manage changes to the project scope, schedule and costs following standard escalation process in close collaboration with Market BT Lead and the Regional Deployment Lead,
Ensure a sustainable User Adoption and expected levels of commitment by driving Change Management throughout the different project phases / change journey, in close alignment with the market transformation specialist, data steward and continuous improvement/lean lead,
Lead a Deployment team and build local community of experts connecting them with the global program and BPO communities,
Manage local vendors and develop local interfaces and applications (i.e EDI / LSP).
You are a part of
Business Transformation team in Philips. The E2E Project Manager reports to the Market BT Lead, located in Eindhoven. As your projects involve international cross functional teams reporting into other parts of Philips you should be comfortable leading project teams on the basis of experience, personal contribution, vision, influencing skills etc and not just line authority. You will be located in Eindhoven and will be working closely together with the Continuous Improvement manager, Transformation Specialist, Market Process Lead Service, Market process lead Order 2 Cash (Eindhoven) and Data steward (South Africa) and will report with a dotted line into the EMEA Regional Deployment Lead (Italy).
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
10+ years of project management / program management experience at all levels and PMP Certification (or similar),
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to break down complex tasks into manageable steps with clear outputs,
Ability to prioritize and drive issues to closure based on business impact,
Consulting skills, ability to influence and manage stakeholders at all levels,
Experience in managing projects related to process re-engineering and technology ,
Cross-functional experience mainly with operational processes : Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, Customer Service,
Outstanding record in large-scale projects Change & Organizational Management,
Having worked in an international environment with mixed cultures and virtual team setups, preferably on the African market,
Lateral thinker with helicopter view, capable of finding an appropriate solution to complex problems and able to look, realistically, beyond the well-trodden paths,
A strong team playing attitude , expressed in taking the lead where appropriate, building on each other’s strengths and working in a cooperative way,
Willingness to travel regularly .
