Position Description:
This new leadership role will focus on driving our Sales Solutions
Transformation of One Lenovo.
This person will be leading the team known under the project name Tetris,
strategic sales transformation project aiming at transforming our PCSD sales
team into new support model, made of a generalist sales and of specialized
sales, supported by a team of Solution architects. With the birth of ISO, this
team is taking an even further important strategic interest and should include
the ISG organization, as well as a full integration of the SSG organization.
The role is both strategic and operational, with a long-term vision required
to drive strategic alignment across multiple functional areas and business
groups. This individual will lead the definition and evolution of business
transformative activities including:
• Strategic evolution and drive of Tetris to fully serve the 3S strategy and
unleash the power of the One Lenovo Portfolio of Solutions
• Overall program management across solutions, infrastructure, processes,
experience and culture to ensure effective coordination and delivery of
meaningful change.
• Maintain, develop and drive the Tetris Training strategy & materials, with
Overall management of the L&D training resources, the training consultants,
overall coordination with the product training resources
• Define and drive sales transformation and enablement efforts, in
collaboration with geographies, to transform our sales organization from
specific hardware product sellers to a full-scale solutions seller of One
Lenovo. Drive the transformation plan, ensure execution and measure impact.
• Assess how ISO could provide geo guidance and drive on the additional areas
required to make Tetris successful:
o Sales Compensation recommendation
o RAD/BMS Tools
o Sales productivity guidance and dashboards
o Verticals – how we work/fold in the vertical teams/work (for example: AR/VR,
Healthcare, Smart Edge, Industry Solutions, etc.)
• Focus on the execution of Tetris 2.0 with ISG included on GA in the context
of GA 2.0 Sales Transformation, but also through the extension of Enterprise
Strategic Accounts, measure progress and track results
• Develop a Tetris 3.0 for the creation of the One Lenovo Channel organization
• Provide strategic leadership and creative thinking tied to the analysis of
technology trends and the identification of new opportunities to help drive
growth strategies.
• Build & present business cases for initiatives based on industry trends,
business needs and scalable growth.
#### Position Requirements:
• MBA strongly preferred, Bachelor’s degree required.
• 10-20 years in related disciplines including transformation management,
consulting, strategic planning, program/product management, marketing and
sales enablement
• 10 years in senior leadership roles, managing and influencing global teams
in technology industry
• Track record of successful delivery of strategic and operational initiatives
from concept through implementation.
• Ability to influence cross-functional Global teams and achieve cross-
divisional alignment.
• Results-oriented, adept in conflict resolution, skilled at prioritization
and change management.
• Focused on delivering high quality and timely deliverables with a positive
approach towards the work.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrate excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving
skills.
• Ability to toggle between analytical details and big-picture strategic
thinking.
• Able to effectively work in a highly matrixed organization, handling
competing priorities and connecting the dots across.
• Synthesizes data to develop strategic and operational implications that
translate into action.
• Embodies a self-starter problem solver and able to successfully manage
multiple workflows.
