In this function you will: Be responsible for analyzing and designing required specifications for new customer set-ups / enhancements and modifications within Eaton’s EDI application environments. Serve as the primary link between the business and our data-trading partners, the jobholder helps define EDI transactions and business flows, as well as creating mappings and scripts within the Sterling B2B Integrator (SI) environment. Work independently, or in conjunction with Functional Analysts on larger B2B projects (who help define priority, scope, and customer requirements) the EDI Specialist is responsible for timely delivery and successful outcomes in respect of: end-to-end EDI testing (with trading partners and ERP developers) full project lifecycle (on “fast track” modifications to existing partner set-ups, including the support of user acceptance testing events / schedules) implementing transactions in Eaton production ERP environments, including handling of warranty cases and support request routing Recommend improvements to standard Eaton software, processes, EDI specifications and platforms Represent EDI for enterprise IT by participating in large and cross-functional enterprise projects. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution Minimum 3 years of IT development experience in developing and designing EDI application solutions Candidate must be authorized to work in the US on a continuous basis without company sponsorship No relocation is offered. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of one of the Eaton facilities listed. Active-duty military is exempt from the geographical mile limitation.
