#### Position Description:


\-    Work location: 104 台北市中山區北安路780號7樓
\-      Participate in PC docking and port duplicator design and development
from concept to mass production.
\- Be the technical contact window at OEM/ODM site to support various
engineering build and pilot run. Represent the product delivery team in cross-
functional team collaborations.
\- Optimize subsystem design of docking station as an eco-system around
notebook PC.
\- Handling the engineering problems reported in MFG site or in the field,
timely update the analysis status of these issues;
\- Detail responsibilities including:
o Search and identify dock related product solutions by close communication
with venders and partners;
o Work with Product Delivery team on product design and development;
o Work with ODMs on product design, drive customer centric design of
performance, quality, manageability, serviceability, cost efficiency, etc.
o Identify product related issues from field and customers;
o Drive solutions for above issues with cross-functional team. The issues
could relate to integration /interaction with PC system, or device HW design
architecture & performance, power consumption design, thermal behavior, PCB
layout design and production issues related to production line quality,
components quality, manufacturing process, etc.
o Manage and debug above issues with internal teams and OEMs/ODMs.
o Analyze and find out the root cause of the problem, work with DE team ( EE,
BIOS, BB, Mechanical…etc) or Proc. E to come out short/long term solution to
resume production and shipment as soon as possible, in further, take actions
to prevent this kind issue from happening again.
o Involve new product development, ensure the solutions of design issues,
customer satisfaction issues, field issues to be implemented in new product;
\- Drive innovative design in dock ecosystem
\- Collect/compose professional documents for specifications or
communications.

#### Position Requirements:


\- Bachelor degree or above of Automatic, Electronic, Computer H/W;
\- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in the design and development of
computer electronic design and production, notebook system design experience
is preferred.
\- Direct experience in high volume computers /communication devices /consumer
electronics preferred.
\- Must have a solid understanding of the system development process including
concept creation, schematics and board development, as well as board and
system bring up and debugging.
\- Good understanding of main expansion buses specifications from the
standpoints of protocol, signal and timing. Such as DisplayPort，USB, Type-C,
HDMI, etc.
\- Must have excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese.
\- High speed expansion buses design experience is a plus. Such as Type-C,
Thunderbolt.
\- Windows device driver development/evaluation experience is a plus.
\- Embedded system development experience is a plus.
\- Software and scripting experience is also a plus.
