Your EHS associate role at Caterpillar will provide you the opportunity to assist management in ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for every employee in your assigned work group. You will initiate, coordinate and manage safety, environmental protection improvements resulting in improved employee satisfaction and business results.

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Maintaining and improving the workgroup’s compliance EHS strategy
• Manage facility pollution discharge permit compliance.
• Manage facility hazardous waste including vendor management, storage area management and training, record keeping, contingency plans, budget, and governmental reporting.
• Administer hazardous materials program including employee training, record keeping, new hazards material approvals, and governmental reporting.
• Providing EHS professional suggestions to management
• Maintaining the Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Management System and find the non-compliance of legal issues
• Providing specific EHS training and consultant to all levels of organization
• Coaching other EHS staff to improve EHS management skills
• Checking and monitoring the Safety, Environmental protection performance in workshop and provide onsite coach to front line supervisors, leaders and operators
• Assisting leadership in performing hazard/risk evaluation, analysis and elimination
• Assisting leadership in evaluating EHS programs and technical support to hazard/risk control
• Assisting managers, supervisors and employees in conducting accident / incident investigations for improvement and prevent the same
• Managing EHS Metrics and report on schedule
• Working with Local government for legal compliance
• Perform inspections and tests planned to monitor specific EHS issues, regulations, and company practices
• Use readily available, clear and direct references and provide straightforward solutions to problems

任职要求：

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or above degree in safety or environment engineering
• Background on Environmental/health/safety experience in an industrial environment
• Understanding or familiar with local environmental law, regulation
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively
• Good abilities of analysis, consequence and diagnosis
• Proficient with computer and English in speaking and writing
