Our Hillsboro, OR office is looking for an experienced EHS Professional with a Safety background to assist with Client needs throughout the state of Oregon. The successful candidate will have a strong history of performing general Safety technical work and servicing clients and should be able to demonstrate strengths in one or more of the following areas:

• Understanding of health and safety regulatory requirements, specifically Cal/OSHA standards and conducting regulatory compliance audits
• Conducting accident investigations and creating follow up responses
• Performing EHS inspections & assessments such IH, PPE, and machine guarding
• Creating/maintaining/implementing hazard communication/chemical safety programs
• Creating and delivering health and safety training
• Developing or auditing management systems
• Expertise and experience in EHS regulatory compliance
• EHS Auditing
• Process Hazard Analysis
• Process Safety Management
• Development of EHS programs at a site level
• Ergonomics or IH familiarity a plus
• Developing proposals and cost estimating
• Developing business through sales and networking/attending conferences and other marketing events.

The ideal candidate will possess the following characteristics:

• Ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in EHS consulting and/or corporate EHS program management who is highly motivated by the cultivation of long-term and mutually-rewarding relationships with clients, coworkers, and partners.
• Ability to develop and sustain customer relationships
• General knowledge of EHS
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to gather and organize data from multiple sources
• Ability to plan and implement projects
• Professional certifications (such as CIH, ASP, CSP, CPE, CAC, or CHMM) desired, but not required
