EHS Nordics Cluster Coordinator Location: This position is based at either our Kista, Sweden, Espoo, Finland, Oslo, Norway or Copenhagen, Denmark facility. This role is open to a hybrid work schedule. As EHS Nordics Cluster Coordinator, you will be part of the Nordics Services Organization, partnering with operational leaders and EHS liaisons to drive safety management and performance within the Nordics cluster. You will lead the Service EHS strategy in the cluster in alignment with the EMEA EHS Strategic Plan. You will be required to interact with a diverse group of stakeholders internal and externally over the countries that are part of the cluster (Finland, Norway, Sweden and Denmark). In addition, you will be part of the Service EHS community within EMEA Electrical, which will provide a great opportunity to take part on key EHS initiatives for risk reduction with division/ regional impact. Your main responsibilities: • Support the Cluster Service Manager in fulfilling his EHS-related responsibilities • Champion the deployment of EHS standards and Zero Incident Safety Culture within scope. Develops strong working relationships with functional and business leaders • Represent Eaton in front of external parties (e.g. customers and authorized service providers) for EHS matters. Ensures compliance to EHS regulations, standards and laws • Manage EHS questionnaires from customers during inquiry to order stage. Ensure regulatory Safety Files are completed and presented to customers. • Deliver EHS training courses for Managers and Employees and maintain an EHS training matrix • Comply with Eaton’s ethics policy and keeps management informed of issues associated with regulatory compliance • Partner with other Service EHS Liaisons in the cluster to collect, report, monitor and analyze organizational EHS metrics related to the Service Operations Scorecard and perform periodical reviews to evaluate results and recommend action plans to close the gaps at an operational level in the cluster. Drive the actions plans (EHS roadmap) required to meet defined goals and keep certifications. • Maintain required operational EHS documentation and ensure proper use and retention • Support initiatives to improve environmental conditions in the community and to foster employee wellness and off-the-job safety • Lead the investigation of incidents (including near misses, releases, and losses) to determine root causes and define suitable corrective and preventive action plans. Identify and determine suitable action for dealing with systemic EHS issues within the organization. Prepare Lessons Learned documents • Conduct regular internal EHs audits, service EHS reviews and field service EHS inspections • Supports EHS risk assessment initiatives and risk mitigation (including security) • Coordinates and assists in the scheduling of third-party and internal audits within the organization • Develop and apply programs for managing Eaton contractors and authorized service providers in the field of service activities Qualifications Education • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution • Professional certification preferred (Certified Safety Professional, Certified Industrial Hygienist, Certified Hazardous Materials Manager, or country equivalent) Years and area of experience required • Strong background in EHS with minimum of three years’ experience in companies performing electrical works for Services and/or Construction sites • Understanding of field service operations at customer locations Technical knowledge • Comprehension of industry, and country environmental, health, and safety requirements • Ability to serve as a subject matter expert in one of the EHS functional disciplines (Occupational Health, Environmental Engineering/Management, Safety, or EHS Systems) Soft skills • Strong organizational ability to manage large number of disparate projects and to track projects through completion • Working knowledge of cross-functional EHS disciplines • Ability to demonstrate managerial courage (e.g., managing varied interests representing potential conflicts). • Ability to lead and support cross-functional process improvement teams. • Ability to integrate EHS with other functions • Ability to work under pressure and make decisions close to time • Able to travel regularly to locations under his/her scope #LI-MJ1 What you will get from us Eaton’s mission is to improve the quality of life and the environment through the use of power management technologies and services.
