Our Çerkezköy site employs around 2500 people, manufacturing a portfolio of hose products.
 
As a FF EHS Coordinator, your main duties:
  • Ensures Work Station Risk Assessments (WRA’s) , FF Level Risk Assessment, ergonomic risk assessment, IH hazards, and other EHS related analyses are current and performed as required.  Uses this information to identify critical to safety issues, EHS hazards and aspects.
  • Works with FF Manager and Campus EHS Manager to create targets and objectives based on key FF EHS risks. Determines appropriate leading and lagging indicators to track performance against targets and objectives. Manages and directs Focus Factory in achieving EHS targets & objectives to drive EHS culture, compliance, and results.

  • Creates and facilitates EHS engagement through EHS teams and committees needed to create and promote zero incident EHS culture throughout FF.

  • Support and works with Campus EHS Manager to assign MESH element champions and facilitate their engagement in ownership of the MESH elements and to support the overall MESH process in accordance with Eaton MESH, ISO 14001, and regulatory requirements. 

  • Works with FF Manager and team to facilities the implementation of key EHS operational controls, and that EHS action items are resolved on a timely basis.

  • Ensures all EHS inspections for the FF are performed and documented and corrective actions are completed as necessary.

  • In collaboration with HR functions, establishes processes to ensure required EHS training needs are identified, delivered, and only trained employees are performing those tasks.

  • Facilitates the investigation of FF’s EHS incidents (including near misses, releases, and losses) and accidents to determine root causes and prepares/directs corrective and preventive action plans

  • Uses established EHS data processes such as MESH Prism to manage data such as injuries and illnesses, risk assessments, EHS action items and other pertinent information.

  • This position provides environmental, health and safety leadership to the Hydraulic or Industrial Focus Factory within the Çerkezköy Polimer Campus. Individual is accountable for: directing EHS activities of the focus factory; establishing EHS objectives and targets; managing and reducing significant aspects and risks; internal reporting of EHS performance;. The FF EHS Coordinator is responsible for  facilitating the investigation of incidents and establishing corrective and preventive action plans; and creating a strong EHS culture that engages employees throughout FF in their EHS teams and processes.

  • This role is also responsible for leading the FF factory MESH program/process and ISO 14001 certification by executing on MESH programs where they or their team are the element champions and assuring that all MESH programs are effectively deployed within the focus factory.

     

     

Qualifications

Are you?
Required:
  • A bachelor’s degree in environmental science, industrial, manufacturing, or chemical engineering, chemistry, industrial hygiene, safety or related discipline,

  • Detailed comprehension of industry/state/country specific environmental, health, and safety requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment is required;.

  • Comprehension of industry, state, and country EHS requirements.

  • Adept at utilization of company-wide system for reporting EHS data and information

  • Ability to demonstrate managerial courage (e.g., managing varied interests representing potential conflicts)

  • Ability to manage EHS team,

  • Knowledge of financial concepts and techniques utilized to establish value propositions of operational changes.

  • Understanding of manufacturing technologies and processes

  • Strong team-building skills

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Strong analytical thinking and good communication skills,

  • Excellent command of English ability and fluent in speaking,

  • Minimum B Class Occupational Health and Safety Specialist Certificate from Ministry of Labor and Social Security
