Job Specification:

1.Coordinate EH&S activities on site.

2.Conduct EH &S introduction and training to new starters to the project, including C3 staff and contractors' workers so that they are acquainted with safety requirements, safe work practices, and procedures.

3.Monitor subcontractor compliance with applicable EH &S requirements.

4.File EH &S performance reports, and other EH &S reports as required by project.

5.Advise Project Manager of hazardous conditions/concerns or near-miss incidents.

6.Assist in facilitating and/or conducting accident/incident investigations.

7.Verify and update all required EH &S postings, warnings and signs applicable to the project work/hazards.

8.Verify that all personnel who must enter controlled areas are qualified to do so.

9.Verify that emergency numbers, including physicians and hospital locations, are valid and posted, and these emergency services have access to the field site.

10.Prevent and correct safety and health issues through job safety / risk analysis.

11.Collect and report safety performance data and statistics.

12.Establish construction safety training requirements and training materials.

13.Ensuring contractors and workers maintain safety awareness at all times.

14.Implementing safety programs for the project.

Key qualification:

1.Bachelor Degree or above in engineering background;

2.Safety License holders are preferred;

3.Minimum 3 years working experience in safety engineering;

4.Able to communicate with expats in English;

5.Foreign company or JV company experiences are preferred;

6.Be familiar with national and international ES&H standards and regulations
