Job Description

Responsible for the recognition, evaluation, and control of those environmental factors or stresses arising in or from the workplace that may cause sickness, impaired health, or injury among the employees and/or citizens of the community. Coordinates the monitoring of workplace environments and acts as a liaison to appropriate regulatory agencies. Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Responsible for the compliance of all applicable codes and regulations including local regulations and Intel policies
- Influencing partner organizations to increase ownership and buy in of safety programs to ensure that we create an Injury Free Environment
- Developing, completing and interpreting industrial hygiene sampling
- Calibrating and using a variety of sampling and direct-reading instrumentation
- Writing professional-level reports explaining methodologies and findings for assessments and audits, and, developing recommendations for improvement of employee or organization health, safety and efficiency
- Teaming up with other EHS professionals on a site, regional and worldwide level to share learnings, increase innovation and drive synergy throughout Intel.

The position is associated with the sale of the NAND business to SK Hynix aligning to Phase 2 of the transaction. Employees aligned to Phase 2 will continue to be employed by Intel developing NAND technology and components. Phase 2 of the transaction is expected to close in March 2025 at which time employees aligned to this phase of the transaction will transition employment to Solidigm, a stand-alone US subsidiary of SK Hynix headquartered in San Jose, California with offices world-wide. Solidigm is a leading global supplier of NAND flash memory solutions, led by Robert (Rob) B. Crooke as CEO, previously senior vice president and general manager of Intel’s Non-Volatile Memory Solutions Group. Qualifications

- 3-5 years working experience on EHS relevant job scopes. Semiconductor or other manufacturing Industrial Hygiene background is preferred.
- A Bachelor of Science degree involving major study in occupational safety/and/or health, industrial hygiene, chemistry, physics, chemical engineering, environmental science, industrial engineering, or related field is required.
- A Master of Science degree in Environmental or Chemical engineering is desired- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work effectively as an individual with minimal direction, and as part of a larger team
- Ability to communicate strategic and tactical concepts across a wide range of employees engineering peers to operational technicians to management
