We manage the portfolio, optimize space utilization, oversee operation of our real estate, including all real estate related services, are responsible for letting and sales, and implement all of Siemens' construction projects. We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an Environmental Protection, Health Management and Safety (EHS) Professional (m/f/d) Real Estate, located in Vienna/Austria. Responsibilities Reports to Head of SRE AM CE, SRE AM CE OP as well as functionally to Head of SRE EHS&SEC. Serves as key contact for all real estate related EHS matters in SRE AM CE Collaborates with Head of SRE AM CE management team and other support functions and services as well as all relevant interfaces to achieve the EHS policy objectives Adapts, promotes and implements global EHS programs/ initiatives and monitors their effectiveness Contributes to/supports/leads projects of Global SRE EHS&SEC Roadmap including sustainability initiatives Ensures an adequate competence management and training system for EHS-related competences Ensures EHS Management System implementation and drives continuous improvement for the Country organizations Plans, implements and follows up the audit/assessment/inspections program of construction and maintenance projects as well as FM/FS activities Ensures that applicable statutory requirements are identified and accorded to Ensures implementation of EHS related risk management in processes and projects Ensures and controls EHS related reporting as to local and Siemens requirements Supports incident handling Ensures adequate EHS related communication towards internal & external stakeholder/ authorities Provides a forum for practice sharing amongst EHS practitioners across organizational units Establishes lines and procedures for regular communication and incident management Ensures implementation of EHS related circulars, notes and instructions Required Competencies Several years of professional experience in EHS affairs EHS and sustainability related knowledge Competences in risk analysis and incident handling Fluent German and English language skills Customer orientation and Project management skills Excellent communication skills, social competency, intercultural sensitivity Willingness to travel What else should I know? The gross annual payment for this job vacancy is at least EUR 47 586,-. An overpayment is possible depending on education and experience.
