Job Description

The EHS Supervisor is capable to organize and lead the EHS operations of HTM (High Tech Manufacture) and LS (Life Science) projects. He will assume responsibility for the overall success of the projects safety by setting targets, supervising project GC, subcontractors, and ensuring they are attained.

Effective EHS supervisors are skilled in managing diverse operations from a distance. They have a strategic mind-set and are excellent leaders. Excellent abilities in EHS operations planning are also essential for the role.

The goal is to ensure our projects will meet and exceed EHS expectations and goals

  • Establish the general project EHS strategy and plan for project service
  • Set up the reasonable project EHS goals and project management systems and procedures
  • Ensure an EHS plan is setup in line with clients and T&T EHS requirements;
  • Follow up and ensure targets are met during the execution phase;
  • Setting up and implementing a zero harm concept and a zero incident strategy including required documentation as per clients & T&T requirements;
  • Setting up work instructions and risk assessments including protective and preventive measures;
  • Facilitate site instructions;
  • Monitor availability of all required trainings and certificates and ensure adherence to language requirements;
  • Organize, collect and report observations of near misses, accidents, incidents and deviations from agreed standards and efficiently report to clients and T&T;
  • In charge of construction site EHS management under supervision of T&T project manager;
  • Enforce the applicable health & safety regulation on construction site.

Qualifications

  • 5-10 years working experience on LS / HTM projects (preferred hi-tech manufacturing projects)
  • Knowledge of EHS performance evaluation metrics and principles
  • Sound understanding of optimization of project operations and standards for success
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational and leadership abilities
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
  • EHS Certificate is preferred
  • Fluent English communication and written capability preferred
