Job Description
Eaton’s Electrical Division has an opening for an Environmental Health and Safety Supervisor. The position is located at the Cleveland, TN Facility. Position Overview: The environmental, health, safety, and security (EHS) Supervisor drives EHS compliance and continuous improvement within Eaton’s Cleveland, TN site (CTN). In this function you will: Drive improvements in CTN’s “Zero Incident Safety Culture.” Support EHS objectives that deliver world class results. Partner with other CTN and Eaton teams and champions to ensure successful EHS compliance evaluations. Train, motivate, and coach CTN employees to the highest levels of EHS performance. Support and lead incident investigations. Robustly manage EHS actions to closure. Analyze trends to identify improvement opportunities and impacts. Support CTN’s environmental objectives and regulatory requirements. Manage the CTN “Vision” program with 2 direct reports, making employee improvement ideas happen. Perform other duties as assigned by Eaton management. Minimal travel and flex schedule (<10%). Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution. Minimum three (3) years’ experience in a manufacturing environment. Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Cleveland, TN will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree EHS related field from an accredited institution. A track record of passion for and technical knowledge of EHS processes. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong organizational and computer skills. Experience leading and supervising others. Professional EHS accreditation.
