In this position, you will be part of the Israel Development Center Environment, Health and safety (EHS) team. Disciplines covered by the team include Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environment, Sustainability, Occupational Health and Ergonomics. The team supports Intel's business units involved in Research and Development, Logistics, Warehousing, Sales and Marketing, Human Resources etc.

You will be working independently, as well as in collaboration with internal and external stockholders, e.g. the other EHS team members, Operations teams, Public Affairs, global Sustainability Organization, employees, NGOs, Municipality and community representatives etc.
As part of this position you will be supporting Environmental Sustainability related activities in Israel R and D campuses, such as but not limited to:
Developing and implementing the annual Sustainability program roadmap, waste management and recycling projects, developing and implementing water, carbon and energy related projects, leading the sustainability employee community, developing internal sustainability communications etc.
Working location can be Haifa or Petach Tikva or Jerusalem.

Qualifications

Qualifications
Studying towards a graduate degree in Environmental Engineering/Science, Sustainability, Ecology, Biotechnology, Biology, or related fields, with min. 2 years till graduation
Interest and knowledge in Environmental Sustainability.
Ability to lead community related activities.
Ability to lead and oversee projects from concept to execution phase.
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
Technical EHS background - preferred.
Permaculture/practical ecology/practical sustainability experience - preferred.
Ability to work in a global environment - good English skills.
High learning skills.
Availability - minimum 3 working days per week.
