Job Description
Role Overview:
The ELA program is prepared to expand to multiple cities within China. Teachers in this program will be able to gain experience in curriculum development and teacher training. Each of the three Shanghai campuses provides teachers with projectors, wifi access, as well as access to printers and copiers. Additionally: materials, lesson plans, and training will be provided.

Key Role Responsibilities:

• Student Age Range: Middle and high school students.
• Class size: 8 students maximum.
• Planning and delivering lessons to students.
• Approximately 60 hours of teaching per month .
• No office hours are required.
• Assistance in R&D, participating in marketing seminars.

Mandatory Work Schedule:

• Maximum 60 teaching hours per month.
• 2 weekdays off.

Preferred Candidate Background:

• Native English speaker.
• Bachelor degree with at least one year related teaching experience (two years preferred).
• Self-motivated and capable employee able to thrive in a fast-paced, fluid start-up environment.
• A proven team-player who can work effectively with a diverse co-worker environment.
• Evidence of leadership potential, and a stated interest in growing as a professional.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Debate experience is potential for an automatic increase in salary.
