Job Description
THE COMPANY :
- A high technology company
- R&D / manufacturing : 100% bio-degradable food packaging product
- A patented material, a composite and a consumer product, comprising a pulp and a fibrillated cellulose, wherein the pulp and the fibrillated cellulose are independently derived from plant fiber – this material will then be used for making food packaging products which is 100% natural and 100% bio-degradable
- Shatin Science Park office : R&D centre & prototyping workshop for making the food packaging product prototype
- Production plant : Tai Po Industrial Estate
- We are looking for ELECTRICAL ENGINEER (automation team) – with details as follows :
THE JOB :
- Work in Automation Team
- Work closely with Mechanical Engineer, Automation Engineer and Software Engineer to develop a new production automation system
- Work in Automation team to design and develop systems & equipment (electrical portion) for production use
- Electrical design and integrate industrial automation and control systems including PLC controls, motor controls, and general machine design controls.
- Evaluate the feasibility of modifying existing or designing new equipment considering costs, time limitations, and other technical factors.
- Analyze product or equipment specifications and performance requirements to determine possible design improvements.
- Analyze test data and reports to help determine if design meets functional and performance specifications.
- Collaborate with other engineering personnel to clarify or resolve problems and develop or modify designs as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related
- At least 3-5 years of experience designing and building electrical systems for production
- Hands on hardware design experience; including design requirements, detailed design & review, component selection & evaluation, procurement, design validation, and release
- Ability to apply knowledge of installation, repair, and troubleshooting at board, module, and system level
- Passion in production automation
- Office location : Shatin Science Park
