We are seeking an experienced Alliance Manager to help develop and execute a
partner go-to-market strategy with identified partners.
As Alliance Manager you will collaborate with senior leaders from Lenovo and
our Strategic Alliance Partners to identify and build joint solution
collaboration initiatives, the accompanying sales motions, marketing
investment plans, and regular cadences with Executive, Product, and Sales
teams. The Alliance Manager will be responsible to build Alliance plans that
grows revenue and industry mindshare/awareness. Additionally, the Alliance
Manager will be responsible for assisting teams in developing sales process
and enablement plans.
You will engage with partners at Executive levels, with a sales/partnering
background that enables them to easily interact with Geo sales teams and
Lenovo/Partner product groups.
And what else will You do?
• Develop and manage Lenovo DCG relationship with Strategic Alliance Partners
on a global basis
• Build a strategic roadmap – execute on the FY strategic initiatives
• Grow new revenues by identifying joint selling opportunities and
relationships with key technology partners
• Align the strategic initiatives between the alliance partners and EMEA
Infrastructure solution group (ISG) – strategic projects under development
through out the FY to support the FY revenue and profit goals
• Build business plans collaboratively with Lenovo ISG field sales teams and
work with cross-functional teams internally (Sales, Legal, Finance, Marketing,
Product, etc.) to achieve those objectives
Identifying both Alliance Strategy and Execution objectives, tactics, and
measurements
• Analyze and report on partner initiatives, forecast for strategic changes
and report on key metrics
• Act as a point of escalation on complex issues and providing appropriate
support to internal team members
• Communicate partner programs and processes to internal departments
• Facilitate Internal and External business reviews, and Executive
cadence/touchpoints
• Transforming initiatives from On-Prem to Cloud, from Capax to Open aaS
solutions
• Secure execution on Tier1 growth plans
You will report to Executive Director of Segments and Enterprise sales
supporting customers in EMEA.
#### Position Requirements:
What you will bring :
• 8+ years business development, or sales / marketing experience in the IT
industry (software and hardware)
• Good understanding of Cloud, Telco 5G, Edge, AI and Hyperscale computing
• Industry experience working with/in companies like Microsoft, VMware, SAP,
Intel
• Business and partner development background
• Leadership experience
• Understanding of data center products and their practical application/
contribution to customers’ requirements – and where we need to head for the
next industry innovation
