Job description – EMEA Channel Marketing Enablement Manager

As part of the Omni Channel Marketing & Communications Team, the EMEA DCG
Channel Marketing Enablement Manager is responsible for ensuring a uniform
brand experience in Lenovo’s business partner-facing programmes and sales
plays for existing partners, as well as driving partner engagement through
communications and specifically the Lenovo Partner Portal. This role is
focused on enabling our existing partner network, driving awareness,
consideration and preference for Lenovo DCG. The position requires to provide
a high level of support to Lenovo’s market territories across EMEA, helping
them to effectively communicate Lenovo’s channel value proposition in the data
center market.

Responsibilities overview
• Driving interest for DCG’s product and services offering via industry themes
and in alignment with our demand generation campaign focus and sales
promotion/ incentives initiatives. This requires close partnerships with the
EMEA DCG channel team and EMEA DCG Campaign and Alliance Manager to ensure
enablement content is developed for partners.
• Ensuring that any partner-facing events including Lenovo-owned events (e.g.
Transform, partner incentive trips and partner academies), industry events
(e.g. Canalys), partner facing councils (e.g Channel Executive Forum or
distributor-led), contain the appropriate engagement forums, messaging and
content. This requires close collaboration with the EMEA DCG channel team and
DCG EMEA Event Manager.
• Project manage two annual, internally-facing, channel sales enablement
events;
o Annual channel sales incentive reward trip
o Annual Run Rate Academy training event
• Creating and developing the communications content, processes and tools
(e.g. Lenovo Partner Portal and partner-facing website) to engage our business
partners with Lenovo DCG, and across EMEA markets, working closely with the
EMEA DCG channel team, DCG communications, and the DCG territory channel
teams. This position is also responsible for the day to day management of a
resource handling the partner content portal in Bratislava.
o Work closely with external agency to make sure all promotions and websites
are accurate
o Ensure Run Rate Managers in region track the activity of the promos and feed
back performance
• Managing the channel enablement marketing budget and process, working
closely with marketing operations, EMEA Campaign Manager and the EMEA DCG
channel team to ensure maximum utilization and impact of funds.
o Owning the channel marketing budget and working beyond the quarterly budget
cycle to ensure proper utilization of the funds and long-term investments in
increasing the business
o Where possible, work directly with in-country Run Rate Managers on
implementing activities, local programs, managing budgets
o Work closely with the in-region Run Rate Managers and DAMs to ensure Lenovo
is visible on distributor websites in an adequate and sellable manner
• Ensuring everything is measurable, ensuring ROI documentation

Role Accountabilities
• Close collaboration with the EMEA and regional Marketing & Communications
teams, including associated suppliers
• Building close relationships with business stakeholders and subject matter
experts in the EMEA and regional DCG Channel organisation.

#### Position Requirements:


• 4+ years of b2b technology related channel or business development
experience
• Degree level qualification in marketing, communications, business studies or
equivalent
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Strong writing, content development and editing skills with the ability to
communicate simply and authentically
• Ability to comprehend often complex new technologies and translate into a
variety of communications materials
• Experienced in the business use of social media channels
• A problem solver and quick learner who is proactive, flexible and resilient
and with the innate ability to multi-task
• Self-starter with entrepreneurial mindset, but can work dynamically in a
virtual and cross-cultural group settings
• A background in project management and business operations
• Ability to adapt, influence change and be creative
• Attention to detail.

Base gross monthly salary from 1500 EUR, depending on experience + variable
part
