The transaction will enhance the resources and potential of the business' storage solutions, including client and enterprise SSDs, in the rapidly growing NAND Flash space amid the era of big data.
This is an exciting time to be at Intel - come join our NAND Products & Solutions Group (NPSG) as Sales Account Executive of EMEA Distribution, and work on one of the most advanced 3D NAND and SSD technology portfolios in the world. As the global leader in the semiconductor industry, Intel possesses many industry leading SSD technologies including the most capable Quadruple Level Cell (QLC) NAND Flash products. As a Sales Manager of EMEA Distribution, you will be part of a world-class team that will transition to lead the SSD business at SK Hynix.
This position aligns to Phase 1 of the transaction, which includes the 3D NAND enterprise and client SSD business. Phase 1 is expected to close in late 2021, subject to regulatory approvals and other customary conditions. At deal close, all employees aligned to this phase of the transaction will transition to SK Hynix.
The Sales Account Executive of EMEA Distribution for NPSG is a commissioned sales position responsible for sales to Authorized Distributors and Resellers in the EMEA region.
The Sales Account Executive of EMEA Distribution will manage a regional Distribution accounts to achieve growth and hit sales goals. This individual is expected to have a thorough understanding of the EMEA market and Distribution channel and be responsible to enable product strategies, roadmaps, plans and program execution to satisfy local customer needs.
As NPSG is a new product division and will evolve into a wholly owned subsidiary of SK Hynix, this position will also be responsible for identifying new strategic customers, developing programs to accelerate sales, and determine the most effective methods of doing business with this unique set of customers.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, STEM or related.
- Proven direct and partner sales experience (hunting and farming)
- Lead Stakeholder management for execution in the region and helped to create a multi-year geo strategy
Preferred Skills
- Master's degree
- Keen understanding of the Storage and Memory marketplace
- Experience with Distribution and Resellers
- Proven account management capabilities and experience
- Ability to conduct complex business negotiation inclusive of pricing, supply, alliances and multiparty business agreements
- Demonstrated ability to interface and influence executives in key decision-making situations
- Extensive experience interacting with internal & external stakeholders to obtain required support and achieve sales results in the field
- Excellent interpersonal relationship skills with proven ability to execute effectively across teams
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Regular business travel is required
