Job Description
PRIMARY FUNCTION The Eaton Intercompany process supports production/non-production recharges and allocations. The EMEA Intercompany COE (centre of expertise) lead role will deliver the Intercompany strategy covering Eaton EMEA Electrical and Corporate sectors (9 zones, 50 countries). The COE is part of an overall EMEA finance transformation project and is a key enabler for delivering Intercompany activity. The EMEA Intercompany COE lead role is primarily responsible for the implementation of the COE to deliver all intercompany activity in the most cost efficient and standardized manner possible through the use of best practice tools and systems. In the immediate term, the focus is on an accelerated transition of the current activity to the COE model and implementing the organisation structure to deliver it. In the medium to long term, the focus will be on implementing standardization and centralization opportunities. This role requires a senior leader with the ability to influence and drive changes to a global process. Stakeholders include the Eaton global intercompany team, SCM, AP and AP teams and zone controllers. Job responsibilities Implementation of the EMEA Intercompany COE including the organizational structure to deliver the activity Identifying and managing the GFSS (Eaton support service provider) location(s) that support the COE to provide a professional, reliable and consistent service Driving standardization through policy adherence and process standardization Supporting the business to transition activity to the Intercompany COE efficiently, developing metrics for SMT to measure transition progress Identifying and implementing best practice tools and systems to deliver intercompany activity, working with global IT to develop and implement same Challenging existing Eaton global intercompany processes including cut off and month end routines to drive data efficiencies and timeliness Managing other stakeholders including the global intercompany team, global IT, zone controllers, AR and AP teams Building a COE model that is scalable for future activity Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS Educational level required. Degree in finance or business and/or IT systems Strong English language capability essential Additional language skills advantageous" Years and area of experience 15+ years in finance with extensive experience in Intercompany processes Strong IT Intercompany system experience Experience in managing and transferring activity to outsource and third party providers. Multi-national experience essential Lean or Six sigma experience " Technical knowledge Experience of Intercompany Systems and Tools Soft skills Strong communication skills Strong influencing skills Change management and process improvement mindset.
