Location: Remote in Germany, Austria or Switzerland As a Field Service Engineer (FSE) within EMEA region, you will be mainly working in large data center projects in a field and provide a first-class service for Eaton’s installed base products to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and loyalty. You will be responsible for installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance and product repairs. Offer support to the extended EMEA Service community through high level technical knowledge and experience in the field. Your main responsibilities: Responsible for overseeing Data center commissioning across EMEA on behalf of Field Service Provide highest level of technical expertise in all Hyperscale commissioning activities. Support and train Local FSE in such activities Manage key account technical escalations providing support including site visits, to engineers and customers alike, Drive escalations to conclusion and provide feedback where necessary. Work closely with Project Managers, advising on commissioning considerations and assisting on selection of suitable engineers, carry out site visits as required. Assist System Integration Services SIS with support of high-profile clients, providing technical advice and attending site visits as required. Maintain direct links with business units and act as focal point for all technical exchange regarding the commissioning procedures and testing Manage sub-contractor teams were required Perform Health & Safety audits of FSE and subcontractors ensuring the high standards required by Eaton are maintained. Any other ad hoc duties in line with role Are you? Qualifications Your essential skills we are looking for: Installer electrical background, suitable education/qualifications Strong experience in the field focus on Data Centres Three phase electrical installation and commissioning experience essential. Working knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, SNMP, OPC, DDE, TCP/IP an advantage. Programming of PLC control systems (Power Control, Generator Control, SCADA, or process control) an advantage Good understanding of switch panels and power distribution. Communication skills, Customer Focus and Flexibility Able to work together with different cultures Able to observe the technical instructions, for compliance purposes Fluent English skills Available to travel 50% of the working time Then we want to hear about you!
