You will support finance processes and provide analysis related to the EMEA Sales and Customer Success organization (GSCS EMEA Zone) management reporting, in line with company processes and external legislation and guidance. Work closely with company country finance teams to ensure accurate management unit forecasting and reporting.

In this position you'll prepare close estimate templates, participate in monthly close review calls, perform deviation analysis, and prepare monthly and quarterly close summaries. As a key requirement, you will design country manager pack templates for forecasting, participate in country forecast calls, and support forecast consolidation tasks in preparation for Zone forecast review calls.

You will produce forecasting/budget workbooks as needed to support country forecast and planning cycles and prepare quarterly reporting packs with focus on New Orders, P&L, DSO and key deals. In addition, you will provide ad-hoc support to the Zone maintenance revenue director, prepare data for cost and headcount review and ready quarterly reporting packs with focus on New Orders, P&L, DSO and key deals.

Assist in the coordination of the annual budgeting process, regional target setting, related consolidations and analysis as well as analysis and report on third party royalty allocations. You will support country finance teams with processing of deal splits (GMC transactions) and act as a first point of contact for systems support to country finance teams for Hyperion, Business Warehouse, Business Objects, Smartview/Essbase, Dynasight, Qliview. Very importantly, you will work with local and global counterparts and sales operations team members to ensure alignment with overall finance processes and deadlines, and actively drive improvements with respect to systems and processes.

What do I need to bring?

Shown experience in financial controlling or sales finance, experience from with the Software sector would certainly be a plus. Recently qualified or working towards accounting qualification and knowledge of IFRS and/or European statutory reporting is required.

The ability to be resilient and to work with speed and precision, especially in Excel is important as is the ability to operate in an organisation with multiple demands and deadlines. With this in mind you will need to be highly organised, analytical with a keen eye for detail. Ideally you have systems experience with SAP, Hyperion, Smartview/Essbase, Business Warehouse/ Business Objects, or similar reporting systems.

You will be an excellent communicator at all levels as well as technically savvy and system oriented. Being curious by nature and a driven problem-solver would stand you in good stead.
