About the role : The Paid Search and Social specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing ‘best in class’ media operations across these channels in the EMEA region for Lenovo, as we pivot to an In-housed Operating Model. The role will be to identify key media, data and creative requirements and drive executional excellence for both channels across the markets, This role is intrinsic to our business and presents a great opportunity for the successful candidate to establish and take day to day control of an in- housed/hybrid Search and Social media operation. In the role of Paid Search and Social Specialist you will:  Critically assess and provide effective oversight of performance and best practice by campaign operators from in-housed or external hybrid model teams: A focus on accuracy, consistency and granularity of implementation.  Provide ‘technical’ expertise to campaign operators on best practice across Paid Search and Social including account Structure and Settings, Budgets and Bids, Devices, Targeting, Optimizations and Formats  This includes a specific focus on monitoring and preventing Ad Misplacement/ensuring brand suitability across Social Platforms in particular  Ensure optimum management of Paid Search ‘variables’, including Quality Score and liaison with on-site Content and ecommerce Teams.  Influence Creative Production to ensure maximum relevancy and impact based on Platforms’ native formats, and nature of consumption such as sound on/off, device etc.  Working closely with Lenovo analytics and media teams to identify top performing Platforms, and their targeting sets and formats  Issue best practice guidance to campaign operators regarding Paid Search and Social, including training and Playbooks  Close collaboration with Programmatic and Social Influencer Specialists, to ensure integration between the channels across brand and performance, and between Paid and Earned.  Close collaboration with E-Commerce team, and ensure optimal product and brand/non-brand segmentation  Effectively communicate Media Product solutions to relevant stakeholders and monitor usage and performance  Lead ‘day to day’ relationship with key platforms (emphasis on Google, Amazon and Facebook) and any Bid Management Technology providers  Identify emerging Search and Social trends and shifts in media consumption/new platforms and assess how this impacts our paid media offering #### Position Requirements:  At least 5 years relevant working experience in Paid Search and/or Social, at a brand or agency  Experience working with or for a multi-market advertiser desirable  Demonstrated ability to prevent ‘bid collision’ across single advertiser brands or product lines  Hands on experience in campaign set up within Platforms (Ads Manager accounts, Bid Management Tools, etc.)  Extensive knowledge of Search and Social platforms functionality, including Quality Score, keyword groupings, match types and running effective bidding strategies  Certification/ training on relevant platforms (eg Google Ads)  Network of contacts with key Platforms and Bid Management technology an advantage Essential attributes :  Passion for Media, and Search and Social  Can work under ‘structured’ and highly ‘agile’ conditions, Self-motivated and very pro-active  Comfortable in front of stakeholders; articulate and can influence effectively.  Developed presentation and communication skills; able to explain complex matters clearly  Work well under pressure and would look to problem solve What Lenovo can offer you:  An exciting job with great opportunities for success  A good potential to grow both professionally and personally  You will be a part of the Number 1 PC vendor in the world.  Very nice and stimulating office environment  Performance based rewards  Flexibility and working from home Lenovo is an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any federal, state, or local protected class.
