Job Description
JOB SUMMARY The Product Owner (PO) of a Scrum team driving the development of the marcomm strategy and content supporting campaigns targeting customers spanning all OEM segments and sub segments. The role is also responsible for working closely with core country sales and marketing organizations to ensure centrally developed campaigns are successfully deployed and optimized to support achievement of marketing generated pipeline objectives. Job responsibilities Own development of OEM buyer journey maps (with strong input from the Segment strategy leader) as well as their maintenance Lead content audits and development of content roadmaps to ensure all identified buyer needs fulfilled in Season content packages Translate business requirements into a Storymap to govern definition of Season topics and development of supporting marketing assets Brief the internal News, Insights and Research Centre to create all required high value gated assets (white papers, original research, opinion editorials, etc) Build and groom Scrum team product backlog Work closely with Division (CPOs and POs), Channel Marketing and key country marketing teams to ensure strong alignment on value propositions and supporting content development for buyers, partners and sellers (aligned to needs identified in buyer journey maps) Work closely with the Zones to ensure segment seasons are deployed and implemented. Drive regular reviews cadence of season results with core countries and adapt approach where needed based on the data Must be fully trained in Scrum and be a strong advocate for Agile working practices within and beyond their team Work with the MI team to ensure persona documents always updated based on strong inputs from front-end sales teams Must be a segment expert, having a deep understanding of the segment persona, the challenges & needs, the market trends Qualifications JOB QUALIFICATIONS Educational level required Minimum bachelor level degree with postgraduate qualification in marketing or related field preferred Years and area of experience 10+ Technical skills Strong understanding of modern digital marketing Soft skills Agile, learner and strong understanding of large account sales Eaton is an intelligent power management company dedicated to improving the quality of life and protecting the environment for people everywhere.
