VON ARDENNE needs capable, motivated and experienced Service Engineers or Senior Service Engineers to handle service-specific tasks assigned by VON ARDENNE, like service management for vacuum coating systems (PVD) and the auxiliary equipment. The successful candidates for this position will provide high-quality services. They will support VON ARDENNE′s customers in the Greater China region. The Service Engineers will report to the Head of Service of VON ARDENNE Vacuum Equipment (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.

YOUR TASKS

• Installation and commissioning of electrical components and entire vacuum coating systems around the world;

• Potential leadership for an electrical installation and commissioning team;

• Test or trouble shooting by the electrical diagram;

• Compiling production documents for electrical engineering tasks;

• Revising schematic circuit diagrams, construction plans and cable drawings;

• Providing customers training on correct handling of the installed electrical systems.

YOUR PROFILE

• A degree in electrical engineering or a similar qualification such as certified technician;

• Several years of experience in the installation and commissioning of complex electro-mechanical systems and equipment;

• Expertise in relevant procedures and rules for electro-technical documentation;

• Knowledge in control software, preferably Siemens or Allen Bradley;

• Knowledge of E-CAD systems;

• Readiness to travel;

• Flexibility;

YOUR PROFILE

• Organization and leadership talent;

• Ability to work well under pressure and in a proactive manner;

• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese is mandatory for this position; speaking German is a plus;

• PVD Coater or Vacuum Coater experiece is preferred.

• Establishing and maintaining an excellent corporate image of VON ARDENNE;

• Travelling, both domestically and internationally, also overnight, if necessary.

• Electrician certification.
