• Create and Modify Drawings
  • Review NPN (New Product Notification) instructions and data links
  • Review design guidelines related to the package application
  • Work with required engineering teams to make updates to design rules
  • Review ADR (Assembly Design Request) information
  • Use appropriate software to create or modify drawings
  • Layout design with optimal trace routing
  • Review drawing quality
  • Perform peer check with standard drawing checklist
  • Document design rule violations
  • Review finished design with all interested parties

• Manage Projects
  • Use Micron project-tracking systems
  • Implement cost saving, quality improvement, and efficiency gain design improvements
  • Meet project timelines
  • Use the Micron documentation control process

• Follow Drafting Standards
  • Apply ANSI standards
  • Apply Micron standard
  • Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing principles
  • Interpret different dwg views and projections

• Contribute to a Safe and Compliant Work Environment
  • Identify and promptly report hazards
  • Follow safety procedures and area work rules
  • Use proper lifting techniques and work in an ergonomically correct manner
    Qualifications:
    Successful candidates for this position will have:

• Proficient computer skills
• Ability to interact and work in a team environment
• Proficient drafting skills (ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics)
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
• Experience in circuit board layout
• Understanding of daisy chain layout
• Proficiency in Cadence (SiP Digital Layout or Allegro Package Designer software)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D
• Proficient in verbal and written English (Taiwanese is desired)
  Education:
  Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Associates Degree with 5 years of experience in circuit board layout.
  
  Workplace:

• International travel may be required on a quarterly basis for training
• Work environment will be office (cubical)
• Shift will be 8+ hour shift, 5 days per week, Days
