Duties:
Teach an Integrated Skills EFL class (4 hours per week)
Teach SAT Writing and TOEFL Speaking (approx. 8 hours per week)
Teach an Adolescent Literature class (extensive reading, 1 hour per week)
Assist the students to draft, edit, and finalize college application essays.

Other Responsibilities:
Design curriculum and lesson plans for the four aforementioned courses in coordination with other teachers and staff.
Score and provide feedback for weekly SAT and TOEFL practice examinations.
Participate in weekly teacher development meetings.
May be asked to teach one 5 month AP course.

Qualifications:
MA/MEd TESOL or equivalent highly preferred.
Experience teaching ESL courses especially to high school students.
Knowledge of and experience with the US college application process especially essay writing.
Ability to teach one AP subject (History, Psychology, etc.)
Excellent writing and communication skills.
