Job Description

Intel’s Ethernet Products Group (EPG) is responsible for delivering Ethernet solutions for Intel's Network and Edge Group (NEX).  In this hands-on role, you will be driving the definition of EPG communications roadmap and producing communications deliverables.

Responsibilities as a Communication Manager in EPG will include, but not be limited to:

  • Execute to focused business direction and communication plans.
  • Create and publish internal communication materials including, but not limited to, global and country specific communications and announcements, project-based communications, training, events, and recognitions.
  • Create and update internal channels (online communications channels, SharePoint sites, mobile portals, and apps), including driving consistency across all team channels.
  • Publish executive communications, including balanced content requested from across the organization, serving a diverse audience with varying specialties and levels of expertise.
  • Create concise, accurate, and informative content that engages employees and partners.
  • Video creation, graphics, and analytical support for multimedia communications (visual elements, infographics, etc.).
  • Assist with the creation and management of internal communication systems, including SharePoint, Intranet, and Social Media.
  • Drive, support and evolve the organization's internal narrative, and communication strategy.
  • Create and modify documents using Adobe Creative Cloud, Photoshop, Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and other multimedia tools as needed.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders and additional parties as needed.
  • Track employee communications engagement metrics, lead periodic surveys of communications needs, and provide feedback on readership and comments.
  • Manage, facilitate, and moderate organization-wide communications events (All Hands meetings, Open Forums).
  • Support BU GM/VP external business-related social media engagement, including content and roadmap. Partner with marketing on broader social media strategies.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum education requirements and minimum required qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Additional preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Education Requirement:

The candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, PR, or related field in addition to the qualifications below.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in employee or corporate internal communications, executive communications, public relations, corporate communications, or writing and editing.
  • 3+ years’ experience with Outlook.
  • 3+ years’ experience with SharePoint site maintenance, utilizing tools such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Photoshop, Teams.
  • 3+ years’ experience web-based social media and social media apps in both desktop and mobile formats.

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, PR, or related field.
  • 2+ years technical writing experience producing technical content to be consumed by diverse audiences

Work Model for this Role

This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
