Job Overview

DTNA Engineering Platform Management (EPM) is responsible for the project management of major product projects at DTNA, which includes product planning, technical feasibility studies, budget & schedule development, and coordination of work across impacted departments.  EPM is an excellent department to gain knowledge of the entire product development process and our products, as well as expand your professional network.  If you are looking to challenge yourself, expand your horizons and learn something new, this may be the position for you.


Responsibilities
- Candidate must be well organized, able to handle multiple, detailed tasks and work professionally with various levels of DTNA management.

- Support Category 1 and 2 product projects.

- Together with project lead, create detailed project timing plans and work closely with Engineering and other departments to ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget.

- Assist project lead to coordinate and facilitate project-related meetings such as status reviews, core team meetings, visual management meetings.

- Publish minutes and action items and prepare status reports.

- Assist with implementation of continuous improvement initiatives and foster positive culture and team environment.

- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university/college required

- Degree focus: 4-year technical or Business is preferred

- An attached resume is required 

- Knowledge of Daimler Trucks North America systems and business processes preferred

- Knowledge of DTNA product development processes and Cascadia product line preferred

- Ability to learn and implement DTNA Visual Management practices required

- Excellent communicator with good networking skills required

- Proficiency in SharePoint, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software packages required

- Well organized, able to handle multiple detailed tasks and work professionally with various levels of management required

- Experience in project management and leading project teams preferred

- Project Management Professional (PMP)certification preferred
