Job Description

ERP Operations Manager/Master Scheduler

Production Forecast and Scheduling

  • Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process for China

  • Own the production forecast and scheduling in Visual ERP for all China sites - Enter and update forecast weekly

  • Communicate with the sales team on product schedule (arrival and want date)

  • Coordinate bi-weekly cross functional meeting with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and finance to ensure forecast is accurate, understood, and approved

  • Coordinate with site Production Supervisors on the production schedule, machine capacity planning, and labor planning

  • Coordinate with Supply chain for material planning

  • Communicate with upper management and executives on any issues

  • Review all customer orders and work orders to ensure they are being worked and completed

  • Hold production supervisors, inventory leads, and other team members accountable

  • Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data; answering questions and responding to requests.

  • Creates and revises systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms of control, and budgetary and personnel requirements; implementing change

Other Skills and responsibilities

  • Experience with Infor Visual ERP system a plus

  • Understand how demand drives Material Resource Planning and Cash Flow

  • Be able to communicate written and oral

  • Have good interpersonal skills (compassion, empathy, listening, teaching and mentoring)

  • Have strong Microsoft skills – Excel, Word, Visio

  • Have and understanding of 5S and Lean Manufacturing

  • Experience with Automotive Manufacturing a plus (Knowledge of PPAP)

  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 a plus

  • Electronic Manufacturing experience a plus

  • Process Improvement – Six Sigma

  • Work with multiple departments to achieve company goals
