Eaton’s Supply Chain team is currently seeking an ES Americas Regional Category Manager – Fabrications. The position will be based out of any Eaton facility based in the Eastern Time Zone or South Milwaukee, WI. Position Overview: Manages all sheet metal fabrication for North American region (ES Americas). Total Spend is approximately $80M across Metal Fabrication and Sheet Metal Fabrication Taxonomies. As categories are not strategically managed today, RCM will work to understand supply base, develop a clear category strategy in alignment with Eaton's internal fabrication strategy, and drive opportunities thru should costing, market testing, EAuctions, and supplier negotiations. In this function you will: Works closely with assigned category suppliers and Eaton manufacturing facilities to make sure that Eaton plants are supplied at all times at the most competitive price. Negotiates and manages supplier contracts in accordance with NA business practices Ensures that key metrics for the procurement function (Cost Out, DPO, Diversity Spend, etc.) are achieved. Develops and executes a Sourcing strategy for the US businesses utilizing fabrications in alignment with the Eaton Enterprise Strategy. Maintains high level relationship with suppliers and key stakeholders within Eaton. Reviews both economic and market trends and advises the businesses on best sourcing strategies for assigned categories Ensures that high level of quality and deliver performance is maintained by suppliers and associated partners at all times. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelors degree from an accredited intuition Minimum 5 years of supply chain or procurement experience No relocation is provided. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the locations listed: Cleveland, Ohio, Raleigh, NC, South Milwaukee, WI, or Southfield MI Legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship now or in the future Preferred Qualifications: Masters degree from an accredited institution Experience in Carbon sheet steel, stampings and/or sheet metal fabrication category management. Position Criteria: Clear understanding of stamping/metal fabrication cost drivers and industry best purchasing practices Strategic Thinking, Negotiation, Data/Contract Management, Presentation, and Influencing Skills, Eaton provides a competitive total rewards package commensurate with applicable skills, knowledge, and experience and consistent with internal and external market practices.
