The Role

We are looking to appoint a Junior Data Analyst to play a key part in the ESG and Sustainability function at RWS. The successful individual will focus on conducting data gathering, research and analytics to support the development and implementation of our ESG and sustainability strategies.

This role can be based in any of our UK offices on a hybrid working basis but will require regular travel to the RWS head office in Chalfont St Peter.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take the lead in collecting, analysing and reporting on internal data while providing insight into its meaning and accuracy.
  • Assist the Head of Sustainability and ESG in monitoring the progress against commitments, targets and KPIs.
  • Organise and transform information into visual easy-to-understand formats.
  • Gather, monitor and audit data quality.
  • Support reporting processes for internal and external audiences.
  • Design and carry out surveys and analyse survey data.
  • Support external audit of our data, acting as liaison between external bodies and RWS.

Experience & Skills

  • Analytical experience gained within an international organisation highly desirable, though not essential.
  • Analytical mindset and experience of analysis and reporting purposes essential.
  • Highly proficient in MS Excel with a keen aptitude for learning new systems.
  • Ability to support requirement definition, while suggesting data collection processes and improvements.
  • Excellent communicator both verbal and written.
