Responsible for planning and implementing activities to demonstrate AIA's commitment to sustainability, environment and social responsibility
• Oversee and support as resource person for the implementation environmental management initiatives across AIA Philippines
• Support ESG reporting at a local level (data management and ESG indices/benchmarks submission) and collaborate with Corp Comm team.
• Integrate the Local ESG Strategy and share to Group for consolidated ESG Strategy with Group

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with ESG Pillar leads to assess the feasibility of developing ESG targets  (Health and Wellness, Green Operations, Sustainable Investments, People and Cultures and CSR)
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to produce the Annual ESG Report
• Research ESG related Regulations, Listing rules and Trends, and work with other functions to operationalise ESG as per local regulation.
• Conduct benchmarking of ESG performance against peers. Market scan, Competitive Reporting
• Support the 5 Pillars in the continued integration of ESG aspects with the Group’s ESG Programs and Principles.

Program Management and Implementation:

• Undertake day-to-day management of the program, including effective implementation of activities and document progress towards the achievement of outputs;
• Ensure appropriate recording and accounting documentation as required the by management policies;
• Ensure delivery of resources and results according to planned targets;
• Prepare work plans, produce timely reports – financial and progress reports – as required by the AIA Philippines and partners.
• Integration the CSR initiatives/ programs with AIA’s strategic priorities on Health and Wellness /Protection Products.
• Development of a clear Integrated Communication Plans highlighting priority CSR programs across media channels and utilizing Financial Advisors thru SLIM and On ground Initiatives.
• Establish and maintain partnerships with stakeholders (government, organizations and donors);
• Support in mobilization of resources from different partners, including but not limited to preparation of strategies, program briefs, project documents, and field implementation/visits.

Minimum Job Requirements:

• A minimum of five years working experience, with exposure to the financial services , Masters Degree in Sustainable Development, Environmental Sciences, Economic is a plus
• Excellent written and spoken skills, with experience in preparing ESG Reports/Data analytical skills with experience in carbon and energy footprinting
• Strong research skills with ability to analyse and report on key ESG issues and regulation impacting business / Familiarity with ESG Reporting manuals, guidelines and regulation, including those set by the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, Global Reporting Initiative, among others.
• Strong understanding of global sustainability issues/Strong interpersonal skills to maintain relationships.
