Lenovo is seeking an PC & Smart Device Environmental and Social Governance (ESG) Lead. The responsibility of this person will be to establish, promote, and track specific KPI’s around sustainability and inclusive design. This will be accomplished by advocating for the right choices during design & development, conceptualizing and user testing new approaches, and working with our supply chain organization to achieve the results outlined by our corporate ESG KPI’s. Your work will help empower professionals across Lenovo, strengthen our commitment to sustainability, and help us deliver Smarter Technology for All. In this role you will report to the Director of User Experience Design.  A passion for sustainability and the environment, accessibility and inclusive design, as well as sharp program management skills are the key to success in this role. ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Lead the execution, tracking, and report of PC&SD ESG KPIs. • Hold workshops, perform analysis, gather user feedback, and regularly report progress. • Manage overall project, executive reviews, create dashboards and deliverables. • Work with Geos & business units to refine ESG KPIs and targets based on overall market + regulatory trends, develop business case for new KPIs and changes to existing KPIs, and obtain buy-in on proposed ESG KPIs and targets. • Work with Comms teams to develop Comms plans to improve internal and external comms for ESG initiatives and achievements. • Drive investment requests to support PC&SD ESG strategy & KPIs through Corporate Executive Oversight Committee and STAMP process. • Coordinate metrics and results across business units for rollup into Corporate ESG team’s reporting. • Assess PC&SD ESG strategy and KPIs compared to ESG strategy of technology players outside PC industry. • Complete competitive assessment of PC&SD ESG KPIs compared to other PC OEMs. • Work with survey teams to assess effectiveness of ESG strategy based on customer purchase consideration, customer willingness to pay more, and impact on company reputation. • Drive marketing studies on customer price sensitivity vs. cost-up to drive ESG improvements. • Work with Segment + Corporate marketing to develop consistent ESG messaging. • Be a strong advocate for the sustainability and inclusive design. Learn more about why it’s great to work at Lenovo - https://www.lenovobenefits.com/why-join-lenovo #### Position Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years’ experience working on ESG related projects. • Experience working with product development (hardware preferably). • Familiarity with sustainability and inclusive design themes. • Experience managing projects as a leader (with examples). • Experience developing and leading executive-level presentations. • Language proficiency:  Excellent written and verbal English. PREFERRED: • Master’s degree and 8+ years’ experience working on ESG related projects. • Experience working for a consumer electronics or software company. • Experience working on specific sustainability or inclusive design projects. • Experience working in a global company. • Demonstrated ability to influence leaders and facilitate alignment and clear decision-making. • Familiarity with technology and associated design, development, and manufacturing processes. ** This role will begin as remote then be (preferably) onsite once Lenovo returns to the office, permanent remote work can be considered.
