Job Description
Beijing Royal School is looking for English Teachers who are enthusiastic about teaching and obtaining solid professional knowledge, who can develop a strong rapport with the students and are team players.

In parallel to fulfilling requirements of China’s national curriculum, BRS students pursue a rich and rigorous international program of study. Students have the opportunity to choose from a variety of world-class curricula including the International Baccalaureate (IB), Cambridge IGCSE and British A-Levels, Canadian OSSD, as well as American Pre-AP and Advanced Placement courses. In addition to their subject courses, BRS students take additional coursework to prepare for required international university admissions examinations including IELTS, TOEFL, SAT and ACT.
Job Description:
Provide group class instruction to Chinese students in the Middle school.
Teach English Language subject in MYP system.
Have a specialized knowledge of subjects’ content and research to develop knowledge further.
Collaborate with Chinese English teachers to prepare collaborative lessons and design activities in communicative ways.
Teach some courses about international exams, e.g. TOEFL, TOEFL junior, to better prepare students for the exam requirements.
Understand and adhere to the curriculum, policies and procedures of the school.
Demonstrate professionalism: in dress, in manner and staff relationships in the school environment
Follow the guidance, direction and leadership of the head of curriculum as required
Location: Beijing
Qualifications required:
Bachelor's degree or above;
Related teaching certificates holder.
Be familiar with MYP.
Patient, easy-going, strong interpersonal, collaborative, organizational skills and teamwork spirit.
Dynamic teaching, Chinese etiquette, acquirement and skills.
To be a model of virtue for students.
Candidates with intermediate or advanced Mandarin will be given preference.
Full-time:
Working schedule and responsibility:
Office hour: 8hrs/day Monday to Friday; Weekends off.
7:50-17:10 with around one hour and 20mins lunch break.
Conduct courses in accordance with set schedule.
Frequent communication with relevant departments or certain coordinators to maintain the flow of info, and to better solve the foreseeing or existing problems in teaching process.
Correct homework and answer student questions during office hours.
Develop curriculum and prepare the lesson plans as required.
18-25 classes per week, 45mins per class.
Compensation & Benefits
Monthly salary range will be 20,000RMB-35,000RMB per month before tax.
