Responsibilities:
-Use lesson outlines and materials provided by the school to create lesson plans and lead the classes.
-Use multimedia tools, music, songs, dance, flash cards, toys, story books, work books, and textbooks to teach lessons.
-Encourage student to practice speaking English outside the classroom.
-Make videos to help the students review the lesson at home between classes.
-Attend regular staff meetings and be present at school during office hours. This is a time for the foreign teachers to prepare lesson plans and organize materials, as well as review the lesson plans and make review videos with the assistant teacher
-Follow school guidelines and regulations

Classes:
-Foreign teachers will be provided with a Chinese assistant teacher.
-Class sizes are limited to 12 students per class.
-Students come twice a week, and each time they have two 30 minute, or two 40 minute lessons, with a break in between.
-Our students are currently kindergarten and primary school students up to the sixth grade.
-Extra classes are added to the schedule during long public school holidays.

Qualifications:
-4 year post secondary degree from an institution where English is the primary language used.
-120 hour minimum TESOL, TEFL, or similar certificate.
-Teachers must enjoy teaching children and be good tempered.
-Must be able to provide copies of a recent medical checkup, recent criminal record check, passport information page, resume, and a recent photo. The criminal record check and university degree copies must be notorized and the notorization must be authenticated at a local government representative. The document of authentication must then be authenticated be a local Chinese consulate or embassy. All documents not written in Chinese must come with tracslations made by a certified trasnation company.
-Applicants must qualify for a work visa. Foreign teachers cannot work without one.

The City:
Our school is located in a small city called Arongqi, Hulunberier, in Inner Mongolia, China. It is a clean, safe city with a low cost of living and without the pollution or crowding of larger cities. People here are very down to earth and friendly. They are also very appreciative of foreign teachers who come here.
