We are looking for a passionate English teacher to instruct American high school curriculum and TOEFL prep courses to Chinese students in the international department of a local public high school.
Requirements:
- Native English speaker
- Bachelor's degree in Education, English, or related field
- TESOL/TESL/TEFL certification or equivalent qualification
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in subjects such as English literature, composition, reading, and grammar
- Teach TOEFL test prep curriculum and techniques
- Design assessments and provide feedback to track student progress
- Collaborate with Chinese teachers to bridge cultural gaps
- Create a positive and motivational learning environment
- Participate in departmental meetings and activities
