Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
-Hold engaging, weekly scheduled classes arranged by the Director of Studies at your school
-Give high quality English lessons with the support of our staff
-Become familiar with and effectively use our courses of study and materials
-Create supplementary materials when necessary
-Effectively integrate modern technology such as audio and video into lessons
-Guide students in using available online learning methods
-Conduct classes promptly
-Prepare competent lesson plans and materials in advance for all classes
REQUIREMENTS
-Applicants must hold a passport from the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand or South Africa.
-Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree or higher
-Hold a 120 hour TEFL or other teaching certificate/qualification (or be willing to obtain one)
-Clean criminal background check, valid within 3 to 6 months that will need to be notarized
-Enjoy working with youth and kids
-Be willing to work hard to provide the highest quality English education

EF Hefei has 10 schools with over 7,500 students and has been serving the English needs of Hefei since 2002. As an EF Hefei teacher, you will be part of the number one English Training School in the city. With a staff of over 400 individuals including 60 multinational staff members, we are an establish professional organization that specialize in teaching children ages 3 to 18.
If you are inexperienced with teaching - don’t worry! We offer paid on-boarding training as well as continuous opportunities for professional development even after probationary training ends. Our structured support will ensure you have a strong platform to creatively express your ideas in the classroom. We have support staff, training staff and management staff all ready to help you with your journey.

WORKING HOURS:
We have full-time (40 hours per week) positions available with a maximum of 20 teaching hours (non-peak) and 26 teaching hours (peak season). Paid office hours are also provided to you for lesson planing, material preparation and admin duties. Working hours are typically had in a normal 5 day work week with classes being the afternoons, evenings and weekends.

One famous such cultural site is XiaoYaoJin park located on the ancient site of the Battle of XiaoYao Ford. SALARY:
Our salaries are competitive and based on previous experience and teaching certifications. All salaries are paid after tax and can range from 173,000RMB to 199,200RMB including allowances and bonuses.
