Your classes will be consistent and you will be able to use our exclusive course maps, preprepared lesson plans and materials to know exactly what you are teaching before you have to go into the classroom. Your classes will also have a set student roster, this means you have the opportunity to get to know your students, their strengths and weaknesses, and formulate your lesson plan to cater to their needs ensuring the highest quality of English teaching.

SALARY
Our starting salaries are competitive and based on previous experience and teaching certifications. All starting salaries are paid after tax and can range from ¥11,000 a month to ¥12,600 a month plus added bonuses and allowances.


WORKING HOURS
We have full-time (40 hours per week) positions available with a maximum of 20 teaching hours (non-peak) and 26 teaching hours (peak season). Paid office hours are also provided to you for lesson planing, material preparation and admin duties. Working hours are typically had in a normal 5 day work week with classes being the afternoons, evenings and weekends.

PROBATIONARY TRAINING AND ADJUSTMENT PERIOD
Moving to a new country can be a challenge! In order to help you adjust all first time contract teachers will go through a paid training and on-boarding program that will introduce your to different teaching methods and give you insight into how to run a classroom. This period will be the first two months of your contract and during this time you will be able to attend our Teacher Training Sessions lead by our Teacher Training Team as well as have your own mentor that will help you adjust and learn the ropes! Your mentor will be a fellow Foreign Teacher located at your school.


CONTINUOUS PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
If you are inexperienced with teaching - don’t worry! We offer paid on-boarding training as well as continuous opportunities for professional development even after probationary training ends. Our structured support will ensure you have a strong platform to creatively express your ideas in the classroom. We have support staff, training staff and management staff all ready to help you with your journey.
