Main duties: Using the course books and following the guidelines from your beginners training pack, you will be given a schedule of weekly students to teach. Each class will be dependent of their level or needs in preparation for their upcoming exams.

Focusing mainly on the TOFEL & IELTS exams, your lessons will vary between their disciplines, especially in the writing and speaking areas.

Other areas that might be part of your role, will be in areas such as our expanding adult business and social English, as well as our developing company training and events activities. With in the near future potential extra hours through our anticipated online classes launch.

Teaching hours: Approximately 18 x 2hour classes per week
Overtime available at paid overtime rate.
5 to 6 days a week - as agreed.

Class size: 1 to 1, 2 to 1 and small group class teaching.

Course material: In-house material and self delivery, using your own style and the books as a guideline.

Student age: Varys from 15 years to usually more the early 20's age range. Their levels are of a good standard.

Chinese assistant teachers and Chinese teachers also are there in support in between running their own classes and when not holding follow up classes.

Package:
Monthly salary - ESL Teachers: 10,000 to 11,500RMB per month after 3 months probation
Director of Studies: 13,000RMB per month after 3 months probation
Monthly rent allowance included of approximately 800RMB per month, allowing you to rent on your own and deciding on your own location. We found this more suitable than others offer, as it allows your own freedom and space if you wish.
End of year bonus, Visa, insurance and usual working requirements in China covered.
Requirements:
BA/S degree
TESOL certified
3 years teaching experience
Age between 23-55

There will be of course on the job training and opportunities to progress as the company grows. Longer term, after the first year, there will also be possible options to earn profit related bonuses, but this is still being drawn up.
