Requirements:

1.Bachelor’s degree or above in computer science or equivalent.

2.Minimum 3 years’ experience with ETL tools such as Pentaho, SSIS, etc.

3.Minimum 2 years’ experience:

4.Understanding of SQL and Oracle database capabilities

5.Experience with DB data model design

6.Understanding of data warehouse issues and standards.

7.Experience with software development languages such as C#, Java, C++, javascript, etc is a plus.

8.Capable of verbal communication in the English language

9.Capable of creating technical documentation in the English language

10.Team oriented – capable of working in a global setting – willing to be available during non-core working hours

11.Detail oriented and strong sense of responsibility.

12.Knowledge of Finance and accounting is a plus.

13.Knowledge of Software Design Pattern is preferred.

Responsibilities:

1.Design, code and test ETL logic to meet user requirements while under the constraints from various sources such as:

2.ETL tools – this could be a proprietary tool or an industry known tool.

3.Source systems’ data and structure.

4.Source systems’ data availability & timing.

5.Target systems’ architecture

6.Target database’s data model requirements and architecture

7.Technical, architecture requirements as set by PFS or by State Street

8.ESP (the State Street Data warehouse platform).

9.Product strategy to offer reports that can support SaaS and non-SaaS delivery. SaaS and non-SaaS usage could result in additional constraints and complexities

User requirements could come in different forms:

1.Data mart requirements for support reporting and data analytics

2.Data latency requirements; or other SOW benchmark requirements relating to the scope of the data; and the timing of availability; and data recovery

3.database platform (SQL, Oracle and ESP-based on Oracle Exodata)

4.Will work closely with the data modelers to ensure an efficient process of extracting data from source systems and making it into a robust data schema in the target data warehouse.

5.Meet aggressive production deadlines

6.Provide production support to client-support team

7.Document the ETL logic to explain them to business and technical users.

8.Codes should be delivered with low number of defects

9.Code review and unit testing.

10.Will work as a member of a global team – provide status, communicate issues, share ideas, and follow PFS process, standards and guidelines for development and support protocols.
