The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals as well as identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements
• Resolve variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards
• Provide expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint
• Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
• Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goals
• Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions
• Serve as advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

• 6-10 years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis role
• Extensive experience system analysis and in programming of software applications
• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Applications Development
• Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
• Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Master’s degree preferred

Description:Information Services Group (ISG) is seeking a senior hands-on technical lead specializing in Abinitio with responsibility for all ETL development activities across the suite of Pricing Reference Data applications. The successful applicant will take ownership of key projects and components and will be responsible for all phases of the SDLC including analysis and design, development, testing and deployment. This global lead position will maintain responsibility for a team of ETL professionals based in Tampa, Belfast and Pune. A potential candidate will need to understand system and enterprise architecture concepts and will be expected to understand how all components fit together and impact one another. They will work with a global and diverse team of peers as well as liaise closely with Business Analyst, Project Management, Production Support, and Infrastructure teams. This role is for a full time employee and will be based in Tampa.Responsibilities:

• Deliver assigned development projects within agreed schedule, quality and scope expectations
• Participate in all stages of the SDLC within an agile Scrum environment
• Provide technical and architectural guidance to the team
• Interact with senior management to define and drive architectural direction
• Interact with PMO and translate reported problems/issues into JIRA items to implement
• Enhance/Re-architect existing components to satisfy new performance and scalability requirements
• Maintain highest levels of software quality and stability through continuous improvement of the SDLC
• Define and oversee level 3 (escalation) support for ETL components and jobs
• Ensure all components in the platform are fully compliant with Citi standards

Required Skills and Experience:

• Ab Initio GDE, Co>Op, and EME (minimum 7 years)
• Experience leading a technical team – including hiring, performance management, talent development (minimum 3 years)
• Experience of Agile Scrum methodology
• Experience using Talend ETL/integration software
• Working knowledge Unix including shell scripting (preferably RedHat Linux)
• Oracle concepts, SQL, PL/SQL, SQL performance tuning
• Solid understanding of application infrastructures, including hardware, storage, network, databases, disaster recovery, cloud computing
• Proven experience building scalable, mission critical systems
• Effective time management skills in order to manage multiple priorities with flexibility on time zones and timelines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent work experience

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Data modeling
• Experience working with NoSQL database, preferably Mongodb
• Experience with Java and/or Middleware technologies (eg. Tibco EMS, JMS, XML/JSON, Web Services)
• Experience using the following – JIRA, Confluence, uDeploy, Sonarqube, TeamCity, Artifactory, BitBucket
• Prior industry experience with Financial Reference Data
