Job Description
The EUC Manager role is a position that manages a global team of domain experts. The role will manage teams responsible for all aspects of End User computer provision across the RWS group.
Responsibilities:
- Design and execute short and long-term strategic plans to ensure End User Compute provision attains current and future needs.
- Develop, execute and oversee procedures and governance policies.
- Align EUC provision with IT Disaster Recovery Strategy for the organization.
- Define EUC software and hardware standards in collaboration with stakeholders and owners.
- Report and prepare strategies to maintain EUC estate.
- Ensure security levels on the EUC estate are maintained.
- Oversee operational costs, ensuring alignment with short and long-term financial estimates.
- Effectively manage people by building a high-quality working relationship and providing a blend of support, development and performance management.
- Proactive management of people, ensuring that all the required processes, including induction, appraisals and ongoing 1:1s are in place across the teams
- Effectively recruit and select staff in line with RWS’s recruitment and selection processes.
- Effectively manage business performance by planning, co-ordinating, delivering, evaluating and communicating.
- Actively learn and develop to stay up to date with technologies in areas of expertise and to meet the evolving needs of the role.
Requirements:
- Experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams, ideally, experience in managing global teams
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Understanding of ITIL
- Proven and relevant working experience in a Senior EUC, Infrastructure or similar role.
- Comprehensive understanding and working knowledge of several of the following technologies: SCCM, Intune, Hydrid Azure/SSCM/Intune configurations, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Citrix or VDI technologies, Security tooling AV and Managed detection and response software or Apple device management tools (e.g. Jamf)
