Siemens Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Infrastructure portfolio is extremely broad enabling Siemens to provide solutions to a wide variety of customers, from residential to heavy industrial applications. This is an exciting new technology as we see the transport and energy sectors merge with the electrification of vehicles on the road, water and in the air. We are currently looking for a Business Development Professional to join the Smart Infrastructure eMobility team based in either North Ryde NSW, Bayswater Victoria or Bowen Hills, Queensland. You will be responsible for gaining a deep understanding of Siemens EV charging infrastructure portfolio, mapping and connecting to key market vertical stakeholders, and providing advice to the sales organisation and customers in capabilities and options of how to use and integrate Siemens products effectively. Your primary focus will be for market verticals applicable to light fleet, commercial and public EV charging applications. Your goal will be to support the growth of the Smart Infrastructure eMobility business by mapping the market, developing opportunities, and promoting the advantages of the Siemens EV charging infrastructure portfolio. We are looking for someone with a thirst for being part of the growing EV industry. In order to be considered for this opportunity you need to have a hunger to learn, excellent communication skills, and an engineering background or qualification. A background in sales, consulting or business development is advantageous but not essential. Your other key responsibilities include: • Develops and maps a deep knowledge of the EV market stakeholders • Supports the sales organisation in opportunity development and portfolio knowledge across Australia and New Zealand. • Advises customers, distributors and consultants in the capabilities and options of how to use and integrate Siemens' EV charging infrastructure portfolio effectively. • Serves sales organisation and customers as an expert in product application and commissioning • Constantly performs market analysis and contributes to business strategy. • Actively promotes Siemens EV charging infrastructure business through networks and digital forums • May participate in relevant industry forums • May initiate the establishment of expert teams and facilitates team activities to create new solutions for market. • May support the sales organization in contract negotiations at all stages with information and analyses.
