CONTRACT DURATION        : EXPAT CONTRACT 36 MONTH DURATION

OUTPUTS

- Responsible to ensure that departmental targets of cost, productivity, quality, safety and environmental goals are reached within the required deadlines. Manage Departmental employees’ development, budgets, performance and training plans.

- Leading the Quality Organisation to introduce the W206 successfully for all aspects of the QM/SEC-SA organisation – Audit, Analysis, Reclamations and Measuring Technology.

- Leading the Engineering team as contact person for Development, for all modules/part scopes related to the models produced in the East London plant for the W205/W206.

- Generating and coordinating preventative problem solving approaches to secure the maturity of critical vehicle modules, the target being to be able to produce the vehicle in large capacity series production in time for ramp-up.

- Manage detailed analysis for complex problems. Defining and testing of immediate measures and liaison with other C-Class plants.

- Manage third level investigations of “non-conforming” vehicles from internal and external sensors. Create analytical reports and suggest error control mechanisms.

- Support New Model / Model Year projects, build-up and display of MY parts for hand over to production.

- Plan and conduct RGA maturity testing. Analyze and compile fault reports and communicate to the relevant causal area.

- Carrying out sampling of locally produced parts (buildability) and ensuring the production integrity of the East London plant. Driving the fault resolution process (MAMS) with measures in construction and production.

- Transfer of Production series know-how to the central Quality Division to ensure part quality and ongoing improvement of suppliers.

- Support MBSA manufacturing Plant by ensuring the infrastructure, competence and processes are available and maintained at an international level for successful electric/electronic diagnostic vehicle testing. Ensuring Test software, Test sequence, process and hardware infrastructure is available and maintained at the latest technology level. Ensure that a CI program is followed to reduce testing time and costs and increase equipment availability.

- To establish and maintain an environment from which the department can deliver an effective service to all customers regarding the Development Support Standards alignment in compliance to the Company's Integrity & Anti Bribery Codes, Conflict of Interest Policy & S.H.E. requirements and to perform delegated S.H.E. tasks and duties & to inform superior about deviations.




REQUIREMENTS
