Job Description
The Early Talent Program Management Lead directly contributes the company’s strategic goal of identifying, attracting and developing early talent as a pipeline for future leaders within the organization. The role is accountable for partnering with executive sponsors and stakeholders to develop, execute and manage our Engineering, Operations, Commercial, HR and Finance early talent development programs. Your main responsibilities: Strategy Execution: • Engage executive sponsors, stakeholders and related steering committees in Early Talent strategy and planning discussions • Develop an action plan and oversee execution of the program strategy. Including but not limited to leadership training, headcount planning, university recruitment, assignment management, rotations and retention. Oversee program budget and relocation budgets • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in the program including post program strategy for retaining and developing alumnus and work with stakeholders from HR, COE and business for deploying those improvements. • Co-develop strategy and implementation plan for program alumnus to feed the succession pipelines within identified functions. Talent Development: • Partner with business and HR Directors to understand business strategies and future skillset and critical pipeline needs. •Lead assignment rotation discussions, and ensure cross functional/cross business rotations are implemented for participants • Provide framework of resources for program participants including a training curriculum, coaching and feedback on current skills, strengths development for their program assignments as well as for building future leadership capabilities • Run leadership training curriculum for LDPs •Design and deliver yearly Leadership Development Conference and deliver leadership training curriculum •Coach assignment managers on strong goal setting, expectation setting, conducting performance reviews, and on-going performance feedback to participants. • Co-design talent management strategy for program alumnus to manage and follow their career development with a goal to feed the succession pipelines within identified functions. Talent Assessment and Selection: •Align about employer branding, recruiting and university strategies with 'University Relations and Internship program lead' •Design talent assessment and selection process to find best talent, support interview process and facilitate decision making for hiring •Partner with TAC team to execute yearly recruitment cycle and yearly intake of LDPs Qualifications Your essential skills we are looking for: Bachelor's degree from accredited institution required, master’s degree or MBA preferred. Solid professional experience in HR, Engineering, sales or Program Management. Experience in large multi-national manufacturing organizations with complex matrix structures is a plus. Experience in developing, executing strategies or leading change management initiatives. Experience leading projects with multiple stakeholders Ability to create processes, review metrics and measure on-going review of process for continuous improvement.
